All the way from Bournemouth to the scenic area of Wales that is Pembury Country Park, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine for the whole of our journey. Shortly after our arrival, however the weather spiced up a little challenging campers with light drizzles and some strong winds, making the erecting of tents slightly more amusing and challenging. This has not dampened any spirits, with people still wandering around in shorts and wellies, prpared for the weather, spirits are high & the drinks are already flowing!!
Having taken a little time checking out the site, and all it has to offer we are very impressed to see not only the wide variety of food on offer, but also the very reasonable prices of all the outlets! It definitely has lived up to it’s student friendly festival vibe!
With very colourful decor all around, we are excited to capture some awesome photos later on. Tonight should be a great night, with 3 arenas opening to the public at 18:00, and an array of talented musicians gracing the various stages that are open for those who have already braved the welsh weather!
And no beach themed festival would be complete without a bucket and spade – Which we were glad to see in the main arena in all it’s oversized glory!!
On that note we are donning our wellies and off to go and talk to some of the early bird campers to see how they are finding the site and the vibe of the festival so far… More to come throughout the weekend…
